Students receive extensive training in dog and cat care. The curriculum includes 120 hours of lectures plus 480 hours of practical application. The lectures cover a broad range of information in the pet grooming business including topics such as: Management Principles for Operating Your Own Business. Another important part of the curriculum is the visits made to other pet related facilities. The students should be prepared to bring with them enthusiasm, creativity and an expression of their own individuality. They are taught to use "Kennel Soft" on the computer (no previous computer experience is necessary), the most widely used kennel program in the United States, at this time.

In order to give the student the highest quality education possible, we only allow six students per session. In allowing only six students, our instructors are able to give personal attention to those students needing extra help. The current total cost is $7800.00 which consists of a $50 application fee, $1400 tools and uniforms, $300 for texts, and $6050 tuition. These costs may be financed at 10% interest.
