The Canine Clipper School of Pet Grooming has a certificate to operate issued by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia . Since opening in August 1982, we are dedicated to furthering the grooming profession and to the idea that its graduates perform in a skilled and responsible manner. Students under the direction of our highly skilled instructors will acquire the necessary skills for employment in the many sub-specialties within the field.

During the past thirty years, our director competed in national and international competitions receiving numerous awards. She has been invited to judge and speak at the national grooming competitions. Our other instructors have many national awards also. Some of our graduates have gone on to win international awards.
