Basic Classes are structured to teach the dog to perform all basic obedience exercises while ON-LEAD, which establishes the foundation for developing a Companion Dog. These classes include the following exercises:

Controlled Walking, Finish, Sit on Command, Down on Command - Side & Front, Sitting Automatically, Down Stay - 3 minutes, Sit Stay - 1 minute, Figure 8, Stand for Exam, and Recall

Novice Classes are structured to perfect the dog's performance in all of the earlier basic obedience exercises while OFF-LEAD. These classes include the following exercises:

Heeling - On & Off Lead, Finish, Sit on Command, Down on Command, Sitting Automatically, Down Stay - 5 minutes, Sit Stay - 3 minutes, Figure 8, Stand for Exam - 10 seconds, and Recall
