| Jessica
Moore She appreciates how available they are to bolster one’s spirits or to provide comfort and reassurance. Many dogs are adept at reading a situation and will act accordingly. She once experienced a dog’s ‘radar’ when she found herself in an environment in which she felt unsafe. She felt protected when the dog sensed the situation and stayed with her, stationed as a sentry. Tactile and physically demonstrative herself, Jessica is comfortable handling pets, including cats, and she challenges their reputation for being difficult. Under her capable hands, and because she knows how to read their body language, bathing a cat is actually an enjoyable experience. Jessica was born in Arlington and grew up in Dale City, where she currently lives with two Corgis, Teddy and Sooner, and a cat named Nemo. A 2007 graduate from Cecil D. Hylton Senior High School, she aspires someday to own her own mobile grooming unit and is currently honing her skills to join Groom Team USA. |
