Our Team
Jenny Wilkerson, NCMG

Featherle Pet Care is proud to have Jenny Wilkerson working with us. Jenny is now a National Certified Master Groomer. Though her grooming expertise is with two high maintenance breeds, Bichon Frise and Cocker Spaniel, she enjoys working with all dogs. Her favorite challenge is making every pet she grooms beautiful.
She is highly motivated with a unique ability to read a pet’s body language to determine how it should be handled. Knowing these things makes her more than a stylist. She’s a member of a team dedicated to a pet’s overall care and health. She finds each pet has its own individual and unique history to tell, and she is there to listen.
If she could choose to be any breed of dog, it would be the Golden Retriever, because of her deep sense of loyalty and honesty. Though her personality mirrors the qualities of that breed, she has hardly limited herself in working or living exclusively with one breed.
Though she works mainly at the Sterling salon, she also occasionally grooms at the Chantilly. Jenny is mother to Steven, who is in the Army (and who also worked with us before joining The National Guard), Paul and Raelene, and has three grandchildren. Jenny lives on an acre in the farming community of Marshall, where she shares her home with five rescued dogs: Two dachshunds, two Cocker Spaniels, a Chihuahua named Prince (the dominant dog in the pack!) and a turtle.
Mari Dancause Bever, NCMG

Mari Dancause Bever, NCMG, Certified Master Groomer, is the manager of our Chantilly salon. She is a graduate of Canine Clippers School of Pet Grooming, and has been with our company since 1994, when she started as a bather. Since then, she has gone on to become an award winning groomer. Mari has placed in many competitions. Some of her awards include: 1st place in ‘Creative Styling’ at the 1999 VGA Show, Leesburg; and, in 2004, a 1st in ’Mixed’, a 1st in ‘Feline Fantasy’ at Intergroom, N.J., and a 1st in ‘Creative Styling’ at Groom Expo, Hershey, PA. Currently she is the Assistant Manager at our Chantilly location of Featherle Pet Care. Highest on Mari’s list of priorities are the health and safety of the pets at the salon and the happiness of the staff. She recognizes the inherent personality, intelligence and feelings in animals and feels a strong aversion to their treatment as possessions.
Though she may be called ’The Cat Lady’ because of all the cats she grooms, she also has developed a good rapport with dogs that even a vet can’t handle.
Mari is quite eclectic in her skills and grooms all breeds, including the unusual. Her artistry comes naturally: her grandfather was an oil painter and her own talents include drawing. But, her most original work now takes place in the grooming salon where she loves the challenge of ‘Custom Orders’: Non standard cuts and styling. Mari shares her home with two felines: Mac and Miskie.
Our Chantilly salon is delighted to have Stormie Doyle as a groomer.
Stormie Doyle
Stormie was born in Fairfax and lived in Warrenton before her family moved to Bealeton, where she graduated from Liberty High School. She has three younger siblings: Savanna, Eli and Grady.
When, as a little girl, she accompanied her grandmother to pick her dog up from the groomer, she was so excited by the visit, she chose grooming as her future career. She graduated from Canine Clippers School of Pet Grooming in February 2011.
Stormie’s family has been breeding Labradoodles and Goldendoodles since she was 11 and so she’s always been around puppies and dogs. In addition to dogs, she’s lived with cats, ponies, horses, goats, pigs, alpacas and even hedgehogs. She also trains horses and has competed in 4H events, winning, when she was 13, as State Champion at the Virginia 4H horseshow in Lexington.
She experiences, as the greatest grooming challenge, pets that don’t want to be groomed and that need extra patience and sometimes even an extra hand. Though she’s tried to pick a favorite breed of dog, she finds she contradicts her choice every day when she goes to work to find the happy face and wagging tail of another breed. She particularly loves to braid Bearded Collies, and, in the near future, is looking forward to working with cats.
Stormie currently lives in Bealeton with her horse, Rocky, a 15 Hand Arabian/Paint “the love of my life” and her 3year old Goldenpoodle, Molly, who thinks she’s a person. Molly easily makes friends, likes to have her belly rubbed, her nails painted and ears and tail dyed (currently pink; soon to be purple).
